MEMORY VERSE: MATTHEW 28:19
"GO YE THEREFORE AND TEACH ALL NATIONS, BAPTIZING THEM IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER, AND THE SON, AND THE HOLYGHOST"
INTRODUCTION: Jesus Christ is the second person in the Godhead. He co-exist and equal in power with God. The work of redemption which he accompanied through his death on the cross of Calvary mark the beginning of his works and effectiveness in the lives of all diligent and obedient children of His. His work in our lives are enormous. Jesus redeemed us by His blood (1Peter 1:18-20) "In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of His grace". Redemption means to buy from slavery and set free. Human race was sold out to sin by Adamic nature. "For all have sinned, and come short of glory of God; being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus whom God hath set forth to be propitiation through faith in his blood..." - Romans 3:23-25a.
Jesus Christ bought over our sins with His blood - what a great price He paid for our liberty. He assures us that when the Son set you free, you are free completely.
LESSON EXPOSITION: THE WORK OF JESUS CHRIST, THE SECONG PERSON OF THE GODHEAD ON THE LIFE OF HIS CHILDREN;
1. He bought us over to himself - Acts 20:28

4. Jesus guides, His eyes are ever upon the faithful - Psalms 32:8
5. He sanctifies us from all unrighteousness - Hebrews 13:12
6. Jesus gives us peace and joy - JOhn 16:33, 15:11
7. Jesus gives us wisdom and understanding - 1Corinthians 1:24, Luke 24:45
8. Jesus is preparing a home for us in His father's house - John 14:1
PRAYER: LORD JESUS, HELP ME TO APPRECIATE THE COSTLY PRICE YOU PAID FOR MY SINS BY STAYING FREE FROM SIN. AND TO BE EVER GRATEFUL FOR YOUR WORKS FOR MY LIFE. AMEN.
