The Bible contains the books, which are acknowledged by the Christian Church/Leaders as authoritative. The Bible comprises of two 'testaments' the word testament is derived from a Latin word "TESTAMENTUM" - meaning Covenant or Agreement.

The Holy Bible as Bible Doctrine could be extensively defined as follows:
1. The Holy Scriptures - Romans 1 vs 2
2. The Oracles of God - Hebrews 5 vs 12
3. The Books of the Lord - Isaiah 34 vs 16
4. The Word of God - Mark 7 vs 13

The Holy Bible is the foundation of Christianity. It is a book of Books that is relevant to all generations and to every sphere of life. It is based on the past, the present and the future. The Bible should be possessed by every child of God as it is the weapon of our warfare. Despite the fact that the authors lived at different ages, they are all in agreement with one another. The Bible has been preserved over centuries, it is unique in its prophecy fulfilment ( Isaiah 7 vs 14; Ezekiel 36 vs 19) and perfection (Psalms 19 vs 7).

Prayer: Father God, help me to behold your words as contained in the Holy Bible and may they be a lamp unto my feet to instruct and direct for my growth in Jesus Name. Amen.
